Amazon Marketplace Data

Cloud Care LLC is an authorized Amazon reseller for IT hardware manufacturers. This section describes how we handle data received through the Amazon Selling Partner API.

Data We Collect from Amazon Orders

Purpose of Collection

We collect limited Amazon order data solely for warranty registration with product manufacturers.

• IT hardware products carry 1-5 year manufacturer warranties requiring end-customer registration
• Registration enables buyers to receive warranty service, firmware updates, and technical support
• This benefits the end customer by ensuring full product support coverage

Third Parties Receiving Amazon Data

We share limited data exclusively with the following manufacturers for warranty registration purposes:

Data Shared with Manufacturers

• Organization/company name
• Product SKU
• Purchase date

Data NOT Shared with Manufacturers

• Individual names
• Addresses
• Phone numbers
• Email addresses
• Payment information

Data Processing Agreements

We maintain written Data Processing Agreements (DPAs) with each manufacturer that:

• Restrict use to warranty registration only
• Prohibit marketing use
• Prohibit resale or transfer to other parties
• Require deletion upon warranty expiration

Data Retention

• Amazon order data containing buyer information: 30 days from shipment
• After 30 days: Buyer organization name is deleted
• Anonymized transaction records: Retained for accounting and tax compliance
